School: University of Miami
Rosemary Siemens gave her first public performance at age three in her native Canada, where she received an associate’s degree from Toronto’s Royal Conservatory and a bachelor’s degree from the University of British Columbia. She went on to earn a master’s degree from the University of Miami, and she’s putting her extensive education to good use. Concert performances have taken the award-winning violinist to Israel, Australia, New Zealand, Asia, and – frequently – Europe, where she has enjoyed the opportunity to teach as well as to play both chamber music and solo performances with orchestra. A versatile artist, Siemens enjoys improvising, arranging, and playing jazz, and she has recorded and arranged music on CD for choirs and renowned jazz and pop artists. Her recent duo CD with Loren Hubert is called Take My Hand, and is anticipating the release of her second CD, All Is Calm, All Is Bright, due to come out this Christmas..
