Though he’ll be playing trombone for Red Bull Artsehcro, University of Georgia graduate student Kyle Krejci holds a bachelor’s degree in tuba from the University of Cincinnati College-Conservatory of Music. Hailing from the small town of Villa Grove, Ill., Kyle has always been attracted to performances that are a bit more “fun” than your standard classical fare—not surprising for a student who spent 10 weeks performing with the Disney Collegiate All-Star Band in Orlando, Fla. As part of his graduate school experience, Kyle holds an assistantship performing with the Bulldog Brass Society, a quintet of graduate-level students.
