School: Mannes School of Music

It’s no surprise that Kai Sato wanted to take part in Red Bull Artsehcro—this clarinet player used to be a turntablist himself. Though he’s sold his turntable, Sato, who has only been playing clarinet for five years, is still committed to music-making just in a different way. After attending the Idyllwild Arts Academy in California and the Walnut Hill School in Massachusetts, Sato is currently enrolled at Mannes Pre-College.
