Sweden’s Anton Grandert is a Renaissance man, interested in everything. Born to a family of artists, he has always been fascinated with the visual arts, as well as languages, mathematics, and science. Since making his trombone debut at age thirteen, Grandert has worked as a freelance musician with ensembles and as a soloist, while also studying at Australia’s Victorian College of the Arts and earning a degree from the School of Music in Piteå, Sweden. He has toured with the Nordic Youth Orchestra and the JM World Orchestra, and he even took a gig on a cruise ship. Currently, “Antonio Granderras” lives in Stockholm, working as a full-time brass teacher and conductor. Anton is also a part-time visual artist whose ambition is to merge music and art “to make something new and exciting.”
